Soundloop we take some time with the Australian musician Jason McKee, leader of
ReeToxA, who recently released his first album called "Pines salad"
and which we will do a review of in the magazine these days. This is the second
part of the interview.
Is there a song of
yours that has a special meaning or story behind it that you want to share?
Avocet court was about the emptiness I felt in childhood, it’s about wanting to run away but the answer was always music!
What has been the most
exciting or significant moment of your career so far?
Recording my first album and uploading to all the platforms was a breathtaking experience. Knowing anyone In the world could hear me was a great feeling.
Any memorable or
unexpected stories or moments from a live performance that you would like to
share?
In the 90’s I met Jeff Buckley backstage and played him my amber demo, he nodded his head in time to the music and said cool man.
What advice do you
wish you had received at the beginning of your career?
Just drop that track, it will never be perfect.
What's next for you?
Are there any exciting projects or goals on the horizon?
I am forming a life band and plan to record my second album early next year.

con el músico australiano Jason McKee, líder de ReeToxA, que recientemente
lanzó su primer disco llamado Pines Salad y del cual haremos una reseña
en la revista estos días. Esta es la segunda parte de la entrevista.
¿Hay alguna canción tuya que tenga un significado especial o
una historia detrás que quieras compartir?
Avocet Court trata sobre el vacío que sentí en la infancia, se trata de querer huir, pero la respuesta siempre fue la música!
¿Cuál ha sido el momento más emocionante o significativo de
tu carrera hasta ahora?
Grabar mi primer álbum y subirlo a todas las plataformas fue una experiencia impresionante. Saber que cualquier persona en el mundo podía oírme fue una gran sensación.
¿Alguna historia o momento memorable o inesperado de una
presentación en vivo que te gustaría compartir?
En los años 90, conocí a Jeff Buckley detrás del escenario y le puse mi demo de Amber, él asintió con la cabeza al ritmo de la música y dijo: “¡Genial, hombre!”.
¿Qué te hubiera gustado haber recibido consejos al inicio de
tu carrera?
Simplemente sacá de una vez por todas esa canción, nunca será perfecta.
¿Qué sigue para vos? ¿Hay algún proyecto u objetivo
interesante en el horizonte?
Estoy formando una banda vitalicia y planeo grabar mi segundo álbum a principios del próximo año.
